Sad News to Report
We are sad to announce that both Patrick and Erin have died. Parvo is such a difficult disease and sometimes no matter how hard the vets try, the virus wins. We are facing a $6,000 bill and hope you’ll consider helping us. Thank you.
Patrick and Erin are down on their luck. Surrendered to a rural shelter, the St. Patrick's Day litter found themselves lucky to be rescued. But just days after they arrived, these two puppies started to show symptoms of parvo, a very contagious and deadly virus. At just 8 weeks of age, they have been admitted to the hospital and are fighting for their lives. Parvo can be treated, but it is costly. We believe these two puppies are worth fighting for and hope you do, too. Please make a donation to help with their treatment. Thank you!
March 25 Update - These babies are still hospitalized and still fighting for their lives. As we expected and feared, their condition has worsened overnight. Unfortunately, this is a normal progression for the virus where things get worse before they get better. Patrick had a feeding tube placed yesterday so he can receive vital nutrients and Erin will likely get one today since she has shown little interest in food. These guys are fighters and we are not giving up yet.
