NY Marine Rescue Center--Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, help support the NY Marine Rescue Center (NYMRC).  All funds raised on Giving Tuesday will directly impact our cold stun sea turtle program.  Cold stunning occurs when sea turtles are exposed to cold water temperatures displays symptoms similar to hypothermia.  Symptoms of cold stunning are decreased circulation and heart rate and lethargy.  

Did you know that the cost to rehabilitate one sea turtle is over $10,000!

Make a donation today to help offset the costs of rehabilitating these animals, any amount helps.

How your donation can make an impact:
--A $35 donation= 1 day of medical care for 1 sea turtle
--A $50 donation= 1 week of clean water for 1 sea turtle
--A $100 donation= 1 month of food for 1 sea turtle

The New York Marine Rescue Center is a rescue and rehabilitation organization that promotes marine conservation. Our mission is to preserve and protect the marine environment through conservation efforts including education and research. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, we are the primary responders for sick or injured seals, sea turtles, dolphins and porpoise, and maintain the only marine mammal and sea turtle rehabilitation center in New York State.
