Final Update on the Jetty Rock Foundation Fundraiser for Patrick Harrington
In spite of the fundraiser ending for Patrick Harrington and his family a week or so ago, contributions continue to come in! Thanks to all who have made donations and thanks to Jeremy DeFilippis, founder of the Jetty Rock Foundation for supporting the Harrington family through his philanthropic efforts and facilitating this fundraiser.
Together we raised more than $13K to help the Harrington family manage expenses related to Pat's care and treatment that are not covered by insurance.
I spoke with Pat's father, Jim, this morning and he, his wife Denise, Patrick and Pat's sister, Kate and brothers Dennis and Riley all wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to each and every one of you for your generosity and support as Pat continues treatment.

As part of the Cranford NJ Track Friday fundraising event, I am partnering with the Long Beach Island based Jetty Rock Foundation to raise money for Patrick Harrington and his family to offset significant out of pocket medical costs associated with his ongoing treatment for Hodgkins Lymphoma. Pat's grandparents, James and Sally Harrington, are long time Cranford residents and Pat's parents, Jim and Denise Harrington are former Cranford residents who now live full time on Long Beach Island.
Pat is a lifeguard and an avid surfer, to say the least. The LBI surfing and resident communities along with the coastal lifestyle themed Jetty clothing company have rallied to support the Harrington family since the moment Pat was diagnosed but non covered medical costs continue to mount and more support is needed which is why I am asking for your help. All proceeds raised through the Jetty Rock Foundation will go directly to the Harrington family.
Thank you very much for your generosity and support!
- John Hartnett
