7 Times Down, 8 Times up: Teaching Resiliency and Compassion through the Martial Art of Aikido
At Aikido of Champlain Valley, I see the New Year as a time to express gratitude for my students, donors, and the dojo. The dojo literally means “place of the Way” in Japanese – a training hall in which we seek technical skill and inward learning that cultivates compassion, resiliency, and a centered, integrated person. Your generous tax-exempt donation (any amount welcome!) allows us to continue offering aikido to youth at risk ages 7-18. Thank you so much for your support,
Gassho (palm to palm)
