Community Food Basket Idaho Falls (CFBIF—formerly known as the Idaho Falls Community Food Bank) began in 1980 as a community effort among several churches to meet the emergency needs of their church members.

The CFBIF is designed to meet the emergency needs of families and individuals facing food-insecurity. Currently, our organization serves 900+ families monthly.

Recently, the CFBIF began storing food for the local high school pantries to help students who need food assistance.

Many of the patrons of the CFBIF are disabled, veterans, and those whom are underemployed.

The CFBIF is a committee of the Regional Council for Christian Ministry and is run by primarily volunteers. Each day, volunteers from around the community unload new food shipments, organize food boxes, serve clients their food complement, and much more. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization!

No person should go hungry. Please help us feed those with food insecurities in southeast Idaho.
