When a volunteer starts training with IMALIVE.org, they often don't know the life-changing skill they are about to acquire. Learning crisis intervention is like learning a new language. The language that allows you to often be the only person in a crowd of people capable of supporting someone in the middle of a suicidal crisis. 

An IMALIVE Volunteer can be that only friend who will listen without judging when you are having a tough day. An IMALIVE Volunteer can also be that only one person online who answered your teen's plea for help. An IMALIVE Volunteer can also be that only one person who will stay with you when you want to talk about your loved one who passed away and how much you miss them around during this holiday season.
