Free event for moms/teen daughters

The Mother-Daughter relationship is a special one, but in today's complicated culture, statistics show that it is more difficult than ever for mothers to connect with their tween/teen girls. Author and counselor Shannon Perry has created a unique event entitled "In Her Shoes" to empower both moms and their girls with timeless truths that will help them communicate more effectively, even when the issues are difficult. The event covers topics such as: friendships, bullying, social media dangers, clothes, drugs, body image and the media, dating and many more topics that can often leave parents and kids separated. 

With this Pay it Forward campaign, Shannon longs to make this event free to everyone regardless of their social or economic status. Single mothers are especially in need of additional support that can strengthen their relationships with their kids.  Our hope is that in each city, those moms and daughters in attendance will also want to pay it forward so that we can take this unique event to moms and daughters in all 50 states.
