In Memory of Nigel and Vic Scanlon-Hall

In June, the world lost two amazing members of the LGBTQ+ community to COVID19.  In life, they rarely were far from each other, likewise they passed within 24 hours of each other. 

Nigel and Vic lived their authentic lives every day.  Together for 40 years, they braved being out in a world where there was little support socially or legally for LGBTQ+ people. They survived the AIDS crisis of the 80's. They had each other and they thrived.  Nigel in particular fiercely defended and encouraged every LGBTQ+ person he met. They were those guys who changed the hearts and minds of people  who had never know such an out and proud couple.  They were generous, kind, and knew how to laugh, enjoying life to the fullest.  

Nigel and Vic are proof that no matter what hurdles LGBTQ+ individuals face, it does get better and we can and do rise above to live or best lives.  

Nigel and Vic would want all LGBTQ+ Youth to know that they have a future and they will find love and support for who they are.  In Memory of Nigel and Vic, I am raising donation funds for It Gets Better
