Kenji Needs YOU!

Kenji is a beautiful black kitty with a very serious allergy issue that is severly impacted his quality of life. He is available for adoption through Take Me Home Pet Rescue (TMHPR) and is currently living in a loving foster home while he waits for his forever family. 

Kenji's chin, neck, face and ear area are completely raw, oozing and bleeding. His ears are inflamed, full of yeast and bacteria to the point that the vet cannot see the ear drum in his left ear. It has been determined that these issues appear to be allergy related. Everything possible has been tried to control his condition - prescription food, steroid injections, ear packing - nothing has worked for this sweet boy. 

Since nothing tried to control Kenji's allergies has made an impact on his condition, a visit to the dermatologist was necessary.  It is thought that there are, more than likely,  environmental allergies that need to be checked out. 

A battery of allergy tests were done by the dermatologist and we are awaiting the results. For a small not for profit rescue group like TMHPR, these expensive tests and visits to specialists are a big hit to the monthly healthcare budget and we try to enlist the help of our followers and supporters to help us cover these extraordinary and unplanned expenses.
