2023 Giving Tuesday Now

In this season of giving, Infant Toddler Family Day Care (ITFDC) asks for your help in raising funds to benefit the children and childcare providers/early child care educators (ECCE’s) served by our program. Your support today will have a critical impact on our children. For 40 years, our programs have been providing the support needed to ensure that children receive high quality child care and enter school ready to learn.

Donations to our 501(c)3 non-profit organization will support many ITFDC programs including our Workforce Development program, the ITFDC Childcare Scholarship, and Emergency Assistance for provider hardship.

1) Workforce Development

Before a caregiver can be approved under the ITFDC license, our Workforce Development program works closely with each individual to help them complete the approval process and to successfully begin their career as a childcare educator. As part of our program,

a. We pay for ECCE background checks

b. We pay for ECCE training (including CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration)

c. We pay a stipend to mentors to coach new ECCEs

d. We provide home evaluations (initial and annually) and help with completing all

required paperwork (initial and renewal, as needed)

2) ITFDC Childcare Scholarship

To extend financial help to families unable to pay fully for childcare, ITFDC invites families in need to apply for financial assistance. In 2023 a very grateful family was awarded assistance.

3) Emergency Fund

To extend a “community of caring” to our ECCEs, ITFDC offers assistance to:

· Pay fees for substitute care when unable to provide childcare due to an emergency

· Provide financial help for health emergencies (many ECCE’s have no health insurance)

Since December 2022, ITFDC has provided Emergency Assistance to three of our educators, faced with financial hardship.

Your donations are tax deductible. Infant Toddler Family Day Care is a qualified charitable organization under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
