In March 2020, the Center for Disease Control released its latest autism prevalence numbers for autism, now at a staggering 1 in 54 individuals. The Flying Point Foundation for Autism has been serving the autism community on the East End since 2010, offering its summer camp, rec sessions, scholarships, teacher grants, first-responder awareness training and, now, during the global health crisis, support to families whose children are receiving programs via remote learning or, in some cases, none at all.

As with so many autism programs, FPF4A usually offers its programs in person, which is not possible right now. We are currently creating online programs that we hope will augment those being offered through education programs, plus our summer camp with be virtual. It's like starting from scratch after 10 years.

You can help us help families. We are asking for $54 from you during this campaign that will run for 54 days, starting April 30, the last day of Autism Awareness Month.

Today, tomorrow and especially during these difficult times, the FPF4A is there for autism families.
