Jack Jennings

Transplant Type: Liver

Update: Jack received a transplant on August 18, 2018!

Jack Jennings is fighting for his life. In 2016, he was diagnosed with autoimmune cirrhosis of the liver. His diagnosis came as a shock, as there is no family history of liver disease. Doctors now say a liver transplant is critical to his survival.

During this difficult time, Jack is grateful for the love and support of his wife, Drucilla Faye, and their family and friends. Together, they have a daughter and two sons who worry a lot about their dad’s health. When he feels able, Jack enjoys hunting, fishing, and yard work, but his illness causes a lot of fatigue. More than anything, Jack looks forward to receiving a transplant so he can enjoy life and spend more quality time with his loved ones. But right now he needs your help.

The average liver transplant costs approximately $878,000. And that’s only the beginning. Even with insurance, which will cover a portion of the transplant costs, he still faces significant expenses related to the surgery. For the rest of his life, he will need follow-up care and anti-rejection medications. Post-transplant medications are very expensive, and they’re as critical to his survival as the transplant itself.

You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to NFT in honor of Jack. If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the NFT Oklahoma Transplant Fund,  3249 W. Sarazens Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125. Please be sure to write "in honor of Jack Jennings” on the memo line.

Thank you for your generosity!
