Jonathan Michaels - Stark Naked

Many people ask me why I have such a healthy lifestyle, thinking that my motivation is longevity, quality of life or wanting to avoid early infirmity.  The truth is that nothing could be further from it.  Working out is just something I do, and something I love doing.  I love the comradery, the challenge, the defeat and the triumph.  Stark Naked is just another step in my lifelong journey to challenge myself and build a communal bond in the process. 

I competed in Stark Naked in 2019 and was able to make the claim that at the age of 50 I was in the best shape of my life.  This year, at 53, I want to be able to make that same statement.  While some of my contemporaries are thinking about winding down their lives, I feel like I am just getting started.  When I look in the mirror, I still see the 21-year-old enthusiastic college kid who knew no boundaries.  Stark Naked helps me stay true to that mission.

My charity is the Orange County Trial Lawyer Charities – a newly established charity comprised of big-hearted Orange County trial attorneys who are trying to raise money to help those in need.  With Stark Naked, I hope to bring awareness to the charity and raise as much money as possible to help give them a strong start!
