$2,000 goal

Hey friends!

This year I am raising money for Fit To Recover. They are a nonprofit that is focused on helping people with substance misuse and mental health through fitness creative arts nutrition and service.

I found FTR in April of 2022 while I was in IOP treatment. I had a friend recommend coming here because it helped her find community. I have found community and much more at my time with FTR a member and staff.

In April 2023 I was promoted to the Service Pillar Lead and it has opened avenues of growth and connection that I didn't expect. Working with different organization in the salt lake valley such as Wasatch Community Gardens, USARA, Ronald McDonald House, etc. has shown me just how far reaching our recovery community can be when we share a common goal lifting one another up.

Since having moved to the ball park area we have had many opportunities to engage with the unsheltered population in the area. As the service pillar lead I make an effort to use my funds to create activities and projects that work to include the unsheltered population as part of our community as this is some of the core values of FTR.

This year I am asking for monetary contributions to help fund these efforts. This not only help's the FTR community, it also helps ballpark and other no profits we engage with.
