Scared and Alone, Janelle Needs Our Help

When you look at beautiful Janelle's eyes, all you see is fear.  Her whole life has been spent living in chaos at a hoarder's home.  She's never had the calmness or stability that a dog deserves, but rather total isolation and confusion. Would she get fed that day?  Would another dog try to fight her for space or food?  Luckily, a rural VA shelter was able to rescue her.  However, Janelle has gone from the stress and anguish of living in squalor to fear and anxiety living in a cold, cement shelter.  Homeward Trails wants so much more for this special girl.  She is only a year old and has her entire life to live carefree and happy.  We need your help to get her to the DC area, where she can began the next chapter she so very much deserves.
