An old injury continues to cause pain for this sweet girl.

Jasmine is a sweet 3-year-old hound/retriever mix that came to Homeward Trails from a rural shelter after her owner's home flooded and she and 4 other dogs were surrendered. She had a pronounced limp and our partner vet determined that she had an old injury to her hip that had mostly healed. Unfortunately, Jasmine is exhibiting signs that she is in pain. The orthopedic specialist recommends that she undergo a FHO (femoral head ostectomy), which is a surgical procedure that aims to restore pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip, by removing the head and neck of the femur.  We would love to move forward with the surgery, but need to raise the funds to pay for it. Can you please help Jasmine become pain-free?
