Jaye is Terrified of What Might Happen to Her

Jaye is so scared. Her whole life has been pretty awful. A year or so ago, Jaye was born into an animal hoarder's home. From the very beginning, Jaye has had to learn to do whatever it takes to survive. Food and water were not guaranteed and there were no humans looking out for her best interest or care. She struggled to survive and certainly did not thrive. Much to everyone's surprise, the hoarder decided one day to surrender several animals. Jaye was lucky to be one of the dogs that now has an opportunity to start a new life. Homeward Trails has their work cut out for them. Jaye needs transportation to get from the rural WV shelter to the DC area. She then needs to see a vet (probably for the first time ever) and lastly will need to spend a lot of time getting the socialization she was neglected as a puppy.
