If you know me, you know two things about me: 

1. I love animals. 

2. I hate parties. 

So if I'm going to be spending 24 hours partying, it must be for a good reason! 

Hi there. I'm Jeanette. I'm the social media coordinator at Open Door Animal Sanctuary. If you've read the Friday Features or if you follow Open Door on Facebook or Instagram, you already know me! 

I have three senior dogs and, until last weekend, two senior cats. My dog, Marvin, and both of my cats were "unadoptable" long-term shelter residents- like, they spent years of their lives in the shelter. It's only because they were lucky enough to land at Open Door Animal Sanctuary that they were given all the time they needed and were kept safe until they could find a home, no matter how long it took.

Last year, our team was able, as a whole, to raise over $26,000 to feed, house, and care for the over 300 animals at Open Door Animal Sanctuary. This year, I hope to reach (and hopefully surpass) my personal fundraising goal of $1,000. Can you help me get there?
