Mother and Daughter Left for Dead

Jeany and Jenny are a mother and daughter pair from Puerto Rico who are hoping to catch a flight to VA this weekend!  They were abandoned in the bushes off a common feeding route and left to fend for themselves.   We can't imagine the fear this pair must have felt after being left behind in an unfamiliar area, never knowing where their next meal or drink of water would come from.  But Jeany is a strong mom and she did what she needed in order to take care of her only pup, Jenny. 

Soon, the pair made it to the house of a local feeder, who reached out to us for help.  We are SO lucky that the home they chose belonged to such a caring individual because many locals are not nearly as kind to the ever growing stray dog population, who are constantly seen as a nuisance.  We shutter to think what fate could become of them if we can't get them to safety but to do that we need YOUR help to sponsor their flight and vetting.  Please, help us make sure these brave girls are never abandoned again.
