The Joseph T. "Jep" Bloor Scholarship fund was established by his brother, William, as a remembrance of his younger brother who died suddenly in March of  2010.  (Photo: Jep is standing, William is seated)

Sports were a very important part of Jep's life up until the day he died, especially tennis.  A photo of Jep and his double's partner still hangs in the Mansfield Senior High School Cafeteria, recognizing their trip to the State Tournament.

He said often that the things he learned through playing sports helped him greatly in his professional life.  Jep passed down his love of sports to his children, all of whom have enjoyed the competition of sport.

William established the scholarship fund the same year his brother died with these thoughts in mind. The scholarship is awarded annually to a student graduating from Mansfield Senior High School with a GPA of 2.75 or higher and who played a varsity sport, with a preference given to tennis.

The scholarship has been presented every year since 2011 to both men and women. Please help ensure the fund continues to assist those who need it by contributing today.

Thank you,

William Bloor
