Joel LevittTransplant Type - Kidney
In the late 90s, Joel was diagnosed with diabetes, which has taken a toll on his kidneys over the years. Doctors say a kidney transplant is critical. Sadly, he understands the effects of kidney disease all too well, as his mother passed away as a result of the disease.
This loving, husband, father and grandfather enjoyed playing tennis before his health began to decline, but his activities are extremely limited these days. After receiving his transplant, he looks forward to living life as normally as possible, but right now, he needs your help.
The average kidney transplant costs $250,000. And that’s only the beginning. Even with health insurance, which will cover the cost of the transplant, he faces significant expenses related to the surgery. For the rest of his life, he will need follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications. Post-transplant medications are very expensive, and they’re as critical to his survival as the transplant itself.
You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to NFT in honor of Joel. If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the NFT Florida Transplant Fund, 3249 W. Sarazens Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125. Please be sure to write "in honor of Joel Levitt" on the memo line.
Thank you for your generosity!
