An 11-mile swim across Jordan Lake to raise money for the Chatham County Schools Nutrition Program

$2,500

$2,500 goal

On September 15, 2020, two men will be swimming the 1st annual Jordan 11, a marathon 11-mile swim the length of Jordan Lake. Starting at Fearrington Point and ending at the Moncure Dam, Brad Patterson and Robb Damman are accomplishing this feat to motivate and inspire others to achieve their goals and focus on the importance of health and wellness.

Part of their mission is to help others in need and they want to use this event to raise money for the Chatham County Schools Nutrition program. Nutrition is the cornerstone to health and wellness, and this program works tirelessly to provide critical meals to families of Chatham County even when the schools are closed for in-person learning. The demand for healthy meals hasn't changed and the program has had to adjust to continue to meet that need. During this ongoing pandemic the food nutrition program is more important than ever to serve the needs of many in our community.

Please support Brad, Robb, and the Chatham County School Nutrition Program by making a donation! Consider a dollar amount per mile they swim or any amount is appreciated.

We are hoping that the Jordan 11 will continue next year and provide an open water swim event for those who wish to participate and to keep raising money for a good cause for years to come.
