Happy Holidays, everyone!
Sorry about the late start this year, it’s been a little busy. For those of you who don’t know, every January 1st I head up to Southie and do the Polar Plunge with the L Street Brownies.
I love starting out the year this way and have always figured that if I’m going to be doing something crazy I might as well make it worthwhile. In past years, you all have generously donated to great causes like Camp Sunshine, Dana Farber, and most recently over $1000 to Hope Floats in Kingston (WOW! I’m still shocked!)
This year I hope to raise money for the American Institute for Cancer Research. This is very near and dear to my heart this year as our family lost a loved one to cancer. It’s with a heart full of love that I’ll be dedicating my 2020 Polar Plunge to my aunt, Darlene Teller.
Cancer sucks and unfortunately all too many people have had to experience that fact in their lives. Please consider donating to this worthy cause this holiday season.
Stay Warm, be well, and have a Happy New Year!
