Josh Kreitzer - Stark Naked

Growing up I was always the scrawny kid amongst my friends, almost like Steve Rogers before he became Captain America.

My friends would make jokes calling me “small fry” or “short round” like the kid from Indiana Jones, and yeah, I was an easy target for bullies.

Later in life, as crossed over into my early 30’s, I was still eating like I did in my 20’s and after a few years, I was getting pretty obese.

I have always loved riding a bike, so when I finally made the decision to do something about my weight, I jumped on a bike.

Within a few months, I lost over 40lbs which brought me a tremendous feeling of self-worth and confidence that I had never experienced.

Since then, I’ve been able to keep the weight off, but I’m hoping to reach a new level through Stark Naked by gaining muscle this time, with a goal to maintain it like I have with my weight.

Having said all that, about 7-years ago I started my advertising business, and to say the least, I haven’t been riding my bike; Nor have I been generally taking care of myself and my health. This time around, the triggers have been stressed induced tension headaches and sleepless nights. It’s obvious that it was time to make the decision to take care of my body again.

My goal this time is to fulfill that scrawny kid’s dream of having strong arms and have some decent sized muscles when I flex.

Maybe not Captain America sized arms, but I know the outcome I want for myself is to feel confident that I could stand up and defend myself and my family if I ever ran across a bully again.

One reason that I am excited to join Stark Naked, is the team here that I’ve already come to love. I know this is going to be pretty challenging for me, but I’m absolutely confident that the Stark team here has my back and will help me see it through to the end.

I think with their help holding me accountable combined with the discipline needed to succeed there will be a positive trickle effect that will help with my business and at home.

At the end of the day, I know that this is that one moment in my life where I have an amazing opportunity with amazing people and a really well put together program to help me achieve a goal that I’ve had since I was a kid. I’m excited to partner with my Stark peeps to make it happen.
