At Veterans Community Project of St. Louis, we believe that dignity starts with stability, and for a Veteran experiencing homelessness, that begins with having a place to call home. Our tiny homes are more than shelter; they’re the foundation for rebuilding lives.

Each home is fully furnished and move-in ready, equipped with everything a Veteran needs to live comfortably and independently. From a warm bed and linens to cookware, cleaning supplies, groceries, and even a TV, these items provide more than just convenience—they provide the structure and support a Veteran needs to heal and move forward.

Here’s the powerful part: when a Veteran graduates from our program and moves into permanent housing, they take everything with them. That means their next chapter starts with a furnished home, not an empty apartment.

The cost to furnish a tiny home is roughly $5,000. This Give STL Day, our goal is to raise that amount to furnish one full home for a Veteran ready to take the next step.

Your gift—no matter the size—will help provide:

  • A sense of comfort and ownership

  • A safe space to rest and recover

  • The tools needed for daily living

  • The dignity of not having to start from scratch

Imagine the impact: A Veteran moving into their new space, knowing it’s theirs—not just the home, but everything inside of it. That’s more than support. That’s empowerment.

Be part of this mission to give a Veteran the fresh start they deserve.
