Digs Realty Crohn's & Colitis Spin Fundraiser

Digs Realty Group is organizing a charity fundraising spin ride for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation at FlyWheel Sports in Lincoln Center on Saturday, September 21 at 3pm. We've reserved the entire studio, so please come ride with us! There is no minimum donation - every dollar counts to helping patients get resources to feel better and to help find a cure.

Crohn’s and colitis are no joke. It's a lifetime battle. Our amazing agent Sara knows first hand, as she has been afflicted with Crohn’s since she was 14. It has affected every aspect of her life, including her career and motherhood. Our amazing friend Shira's niece (in the picture above) was diagnosed with Crohn’s when she was just four. Because of Crohn's she's missed friends' sleepovers and days of school, often can't eat the food served at her friends' birthday parties, and she is limited in the types of camps she can attend. You would never know from the smile she puts on her face. This is often the case for many Crohn's patients. It's a lifelong illness that impacts not only the stomach but also can effect the joints. Flares can be unpredictable and absolutely debilitating. There is currently no cure, but we're joining together to help get one step closer.

We'll be riding hard for charity, but after, we'll be heading out for drinks and nibbles to replenish our fluids across the street at Vanguard Wine Bar.
