Juls' TIR Spring Fundraiser!

This month, please join me in raising funds for Truth in Recruitment. If you are unfamiliar with TIR’s mission, their goal is to work with students, families, teachers, veterans, community organizations, and school districts to clarify the consequences of military careers, to provide balanced information so that students can make educated choices about their future, to inform families of their children’s privacy rights, and to advocate for policies regulating recruiter presence on campuses. 

I am raising money for Truth in Recruitment because I believe that this is a vital community resource for high school and college students. Back in high school, I thought the only way to be accepted fully by my family was to go into the armed forces and fight for my country. It was not until I met with Truth in Recruitment at a Career Fair that I realized the realities of a military career, and changed my mind. Because of TIR, I made an educated decision about my future that ultimately saved my life and changed my educational and career goals.
