Working Bikes: Strengthening Communities, Two Wheels at a Time

Earlier this year, I joined the Board of Working Bikes right as COVID arrived and the world was shutting down. What hasn’t shut down is Working Bikes’ commitment to meet the needs of communities locally and internationally, even in this difficult year.

So, to celebrate Working Bikes 21st Birthday, I’m raising $3,500 to help ensure that they can continue their important work and be well positioned to roll into 2021 stronger than ever. I ask that you join me and make a donation to this amazing organization.

Now, more than ever, bicycles are a critical means of transportation, employment, and recreation. Working Bikes gives donated bicycles new life by redistributing them as tools of empowerment in local and global communities by:

• Making a difference in the community through their local donation programs, Cycle of Power (adults) and Cycle of Peace (kids and youth).
• Making a difference across the world through their international donation programs.
• Providing opportunities to learn and give back through their volunteer programs.
