Kenny Can't Wait to Get Out of the Shelter

Handsome Kenny is lucky to be alive! This sweet 2 year old lab mix was found wandering as a stray in rural VA. Life for a stray dog is dangerous and scary. Predators, speeding cars, and no food and water are all obstacles that strays have to face daily. Thankfully, Kenny was brought to a rural shelter, where at least he is given meals and has a roof over his head. While Kenny is glad to have been found, he isn't thriving at the shelter. A sweet dog like Kenny deserves to be pampered and loved in a home. Homeward Trails knows this happy face will brighten up any future family, but first he has to be rescued from the shelter.
