Khan Can't Believe He's Free From a Life Of Chains

This handsome big boy is Khan.  Just a mere few weeks ago, he was living every single day of his life chained up outside.  Khan was part of a horrific dog meat farm in Korea.  His sole existence was to either breed more dogs for meat, or to wait out his days until he is tortured and killed for human consumption. Khan had never felt a blanket or kind human touch.  It breaks your heart knowing what these Korean dogs that are bred for meat have to go through daily just to survive.  Khan's story does not have a sad ending though.  Thanks to a rescue mission by Humane Society International, Khan has been freed from his awful fate and is now in the states waiting for a new wonderful life to begin!  Homeward Trails is so excited to be part of his journey, but as you can imagine, he will need a lot of TLC and veterinary care before he is ready for a new family.  Please donate toward his transportation to HT from another shelter in the states and his medical care so we can ensure Khan lands in the best hands possible.
