Spring into Early Childhood Education

WHERE FAMILIES MEET AND GROW.

The Family Place exists to support families in Transylvania County by providing learning experiences within the family environment, the community, and among peers. Through positive parenting education and adult/child interactive opportunities, we provide resources to help families grow and strengthen relationships, encourage nurturing and emotional support within the home, and assist the development of social and emotional health.

Why are Programs at the Family Place so important? 

The Family Place is so much more than a place to play.  We have been very intentional about infusing evidence-based, Pre-k programming into our playgroups. Our current collaboration with "GET SET" have enriched our programming and stake in our community's youngest population. The Family Place has served over 30% of our county's pre-k population and we strive to serve more.

We are continuing to support families and share resources in this unique time of social distancing! We look forward to seeing all of our families again when we reopen but for know we are hard at work raising money, writing grants, reinventing programs, building and strengthening our staff and programs!!!
