A Diamond in the Rough

Sweetheart Kole is so confused about how he ended up homeless at a rural WV shelter. He is so friendly and loves everyone, so why didn't his old owners love him enough to keep him safe? We may never know how this great guy ended up a stray, but he deserves so much more. It is hard living without comforts of a home or a guaranteed meal, but Kole has not let that set him back at all. He can't wait to find his forever home, but unfortunately there is little chance he will be adopted where he is at. Day after day he sees staff and other dogs walk the cement halls at the shelter, but he continues to be overlooked. Homeward Trails heard about this lovely boy and is hopeful we can make his dreams come true.
