DAM Summer Block Party 2024

The Detroit Artists Market (DAM) Summer Block Party returns on Saturday, July 27 from noon to 5pm! This dynamic outdoor art showcase celebrates Detroit's vibrant arts community and provides a vital platform for local artists to exhibit and sell their work to a broader audience. The event draws hundreds of visitors throughout the day and enhances our community impact by partnering with Metro Detroit small businesses and entrepreneurs to provide food, beverages, and live entertainment. This year, we are excited to introduce family-friendly activities, including a kids' arts and crafts station.

For over 90 years, DAM has been dedicated to supporting Metro Detroit's artists, and this commitment remains strong. Despite the challenges of the past two years, including significant declines in sales and income for many artists due to the global pandemic, we are now focused on recovery and revitalization. DAM's Summer Block Party is crucial to this effort, creating accessible opportunities for artists to showcase and sell their work while allowing the public to explore the talents of local creatives.
