Yearly Swim for Charities

Dear friends and family,

As you already know because I bother you every year, I participate in a yearly charity swim with my team.  This year, we are raising funds on behalf of two great organizations you can read about below. I’d be honored and grateful if you donate!

 To inspire more giving, JetBlue has donated two round-trip tickets between any two destinations it serves, available for use one to two months after my swim. For every $50 you donate, you and I both get a ticket in a raffle for the flights! 

As a team, we’re striving to surpass the more than $15,000 we raised last year, and I’m hoping you’ll consider a tax-deductible donation. We accept donations of any amount, and I’ll be grateful for whatever level of support feels right for you.

These are the charity beneficiaries this year:

~The Alliance for Positive Change, formerly the AIDS Service Center NYC, helps New Yorkers living with HIV and other chronic health conditions get the medical care, peer support, and housing assistance they need to achieve health, happiness, and stability.

~The New York LGBT Bar Association provides free legal services to more than 1,000 low-income and vulnerable LGBTQ+ New Yorkers annually, with clients ranging from homeless youth to senior citizens on issues including housing, employment, discrimination, family law, and more.
