Honeybun sez, "Man, when flea season hits, I could go absolutely bonkers with itch. Luckily, my Mom and Dad can afford to buy me a Bayer Seresto collar that keeps fleas and ticks away for a whole 8 months. But what about all the poor animals whose owners can't afford one of those fabulous collars?

Flea infestations can be so hard to beat, once they get hold of a home! And with the tick borne illnesses hitting this region, pets are really at risk of suffering and dying before their time. The cost of overcoming a tick-borne virus can be more than folks on fixed incomes can afford. And fleas don't just bite the dog or cat....they bite the kids, too! Y'know, there are an awful lot of dogs and cats out there whose owners wish they could afford to buy a collar that brings relief to their pet and peace to their home for once and for all. But not every pet owner is fortunate enough to have the funds to buy such a treasure.

In 2019, The Animal Support Project (TASP) launched a permanent program to help low-income families obtain Seresto collars for their pets. Called, Paws2Protect, this TASP program offers low income pet owners in NY's Capital District a Seresto collar for their furry best friend. That means less homes will be plagued by fleas and less pets will be exposed to tick borne illnesses.

Since 2019, TASP has handed out hundreds of Seresto collars to financially qualified households and spared those pets and their people the discomfort and illnesses associated with fleas and ticks. As a matter of fact, Paws2Protect has become one of TASP's most popular and most effective mitigation programs. Can ya just imagine the comfort Paws2Protect has brought to our community?

You can help TASP keep this program up and running.....and growing. Donations to TASP's Paws2Protect program are applied 100% to the cost of buying more Seresto collars for at-risk pets. Every dollar helps.
