The maternal mortality rate for Black womxn is a crisis that we cannot ignore. Studies have shown that mothers receiving prenatal doula assistance are four times less likely to have a low-birth-weight baby, two times less likely to experience a birth complication, and significantly more likely to initiate breastfeeding.

This North Texas Giving Day, we are raising $60,000 to train ten full-spectrum doulas who will provide culturally competent care to Black families. These doulas will each support two families in 2025, ensuring that they receive the care they deserve during childbirth.

Your support can make a life-saving difference. Whether it's $100 to cover admin fees, $200 for a starter bag, $500 for training, or $2,500 to cover complete doula care for one family, every dollar helps.Help us reach our $60,000 goal to train 10 doulas who will provide life-saving care to Black families
