Help the Vida Seniors Celebrate Thanksgiving

Dear Friends of Vida's Abuelitos,

Thanksgiving is a uniquely American institution, but one that has special meaning to our seniors, immigrants trying to find their way in an foreign culture.  They love the story behind it - the story of strangers taught to survive by the locals - they love the wonderful foods and smells of Thanksgiving, the sense of community it brings. Increases in food prices have been especially hard on our seniors who live on fixed incomes. Vida is hoping to raise enough money to distribute 250 free turkeys this year. Be  part of the Givers. Help making Thanksgiving the wonderful inclusive family celebration it is meant to be.
