This lady still has love to offer

This sad beauty is Lady. Lady is 9 years old, and was surrendered by her owner because she was elderly and couldn't care for her anymore. She was sent to a rural VA shelter, and is now waiting behind bars. Older dogs like Lady tend to spend the rest of their lives in shelters, as everyone looks past the older dogs in favor of puppies. Sweet Lady just wants a chance to prove she can be as loyal and loving to her next family as she has been the past 9 years, and we know that due to overcrowding and a desire for puppies, her chances are limited. This beautiful girl deserves a chance to show her stuff, and not spend the remainder of her life in a small cage surrounded by sadness. Let's give her a real chance at a happy furever after.
