Laurel is 53, and married. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.
She is the CEO of local coffee company “Wicked Voodoo Espresso”- a family owned company with philanthropist based core values.
Laurel came to New Braunfels from the Seattle, Washington area with the Boeing Company as the Supply Manager on the famous 787 program. What was to be a temporary two year assignment ended after three years, at which time Laurel and her husband, Ken, had fallen in love with the community of New Braunfels. They decided to give up their Washington home and lay down permanent roots in New Braunfels. The one thing they missed was that amazing northwest “coffee culture” so they decided to start their own right here in our city.
Laurel’s pastimes include business, reading, writing, and just loving life with her family, three dogs, and four chickens.
