Lauren Bickford's Fundraiser for Side by Side

Hello everyone and happy Pride Month. Can you believe we are halfway through this year? I hope you and your loved ones are all healthy and safe during this time. Even though I wish we could all celebrate together, this year we will have to celebrate through our virtual and social networking platforms. I am here today to invite you to our celebration of Pride Month and to donate to an amazing cause.

I’m doing this as part of Give OUT Day, the only national day of giving for the LGBTQ+ community. We are looking for unique gifts, where your donation of just $10 or more could help Side by Side win up to $10,000 in additional prize money. We want to be able to provide this amazing opportunity to Side by Side by receiving as many unique gifts as possible! Did I mention UNIQUE gifts? This is how Side by Side would be able to win up to $10,000 additional money for their organization.

While Give OUT Day is on June 30th, this year ALL donations received between June 1st and June 30th will count towards my goal! 

I’m personally raising money for Side by Side, an organization whose mission is "creating supportive communities where Virginia’s LGBTQ+ youth can define themselves, belong, and flourish."  

I am also raising money for this important organization because I am about to start a family with my beautiful wife and I want nothing more than to raise my child in a community filled with love, acceptance and empathy. I wish this for every person in the LGBTQ+ community and also for those allies and soon to be allies.
