Leslie's Healthcare is a Human Right Fundraiser

Dear Friends,

I joined the Vermont Workers' Center and our Health Care is a Human Right Campaign over 10 years ago because I believe that everyone should have access to the health care they need.  During the years I've been a volunteer for the Vermont Workers' Center we've come a long way.  More and more people understand that health care is a human right, and that nothing but political will is stopping us from achieving universal health care in Vermont and the nation.  Through the tireless efforts of the Vermont Workers Center and our partners, we achieved ground-breaking legislation that establishes health care as a public good in Vermont, and obligates the legislature to develop a publicly financed health-care-for-all  system for Vermonters.  We won't stop - we can't stop - our campaign to hold our representatives accountable and see the promise of a universal health care system for Vermont fulfilled.
