Dear friend, 

Volunteering with MSG has been one of my greatest blessings during the past couple of months. This incredible opportunity has given me insight into the mental health field from the intersection of two unique perspectives—the Korean American community & the Christian community. I am so very grateful to have played a small role in an organisation that brings so much joy, love, and much-needed support.  

Statistics tell us that Korean Americans' rate of depression is 2x higher than the general U.S. population. Korean Americans' rate of suicide has grown 4x faster than the growth of the Korean American population. 

Social stigma. Cultural and linguistic barriers. Lack of awareness. 

This needs to change. 

MSG works tirelessly to raise awareness of mental health and encourage healing and reconciliation with our Korean American community. Would love for you to consider joining and supporting our mission today!

Please consider joining Mustard Seed Generation in our $20K for 2020 fundraising campaign! Funds will go directly toward:

1. Educating KA families on improving inter-generational relationships through a series of webinars

2. Equipping KA church leaders with tools to recognize mental health risks through Mental Health First Aid training

3. Empowering KA mental health professionals to collectively address mental health issues in the KA community through a national summit for KA mental health professionals.
