What does PAWS do for your St.Croix Valley
community?
Our Spay/Neuter Assistance Program helps families that cannot afford sterilization for their pets. In just the last 4 years, we have issued over 450 spay/neuter vouchers! As our neighbors and their pets are experiencing these tough times of the economy, our Pet Food Assistance Program provides food and kitty litter for families and pets in need.
Our Adoption Program has successfully found permanent homes for 600 cats and dogs over the years. Where do our cats and dogs come from? Many of them were once lost or unwanted pets from our St Croix communities. Others we save from death row at high-kill shelters. Depending on how many Foster Homes we have available, does set a limit of how many of these cats and dogs we can help find loving homes. We seem to never have enough Foster Homes for the increasing number of cats and dogs in need! To find out more about becoming a Foster Home, please go to our website www.pawswi.com
How can you help?
For a just $10/month for a year, you can spay 1 female & neuter 1 male cat or dog which will prevent an estimated 12 kittens or 16 puppies from being born. Not your responsibility? YES IT IS! Because if you do not become a Litter Buster, in 1 year those 12 kittens or 16 puppies may produce litters of their own! It is happening in your community! Yes, in your backyard. Yes, on your farm. Yes, in our countryside. Yes, our St Croix valley is overwhelmed with unwanted cats and dogs.
