Dental still needed!
Lucky Lucy and her girl are officially in Homeward Trails care! They arrived safe and sound--but we're still struggling the cost for the transport and vetting. And we really, REALLY need to fundraise the money for Lucy's dental!
This sweet old pup has gone without for too long. She has likely never had the dental care she's needed, and her gums are paying the price. Her gums are swollen and painful, and it's hard for her to chew or enjoy her treats!!! She needs a dental to remove a lifetime of plaque and bacteria buildup, and get back to feeling her absolute best. A fresh start deserves some fresh breath--and healthy gums!
Lucy and 3-week-old Mia are a precious chihuahua-mix mom and daughter duo who are sweet as pie and will cha-cha right into your heart! However, they are in desperate need of care. Their owner did not want Lucy anymore - for reasons unknown - and decided to give away her and her daughter Mia to anyone who wants to take them. We quickly stepped in and offered to take them in order to make sure they receive the proper care they need and go to a loving home that will hopefully be their forever home. Part of that care is that Lucy will need a dental once we get her - while in decent condition, both definitely did not receive some of the care they need to be as healthy as they should be.
