Luna Is Looking For A Family To Love

Adorable Luna is a 2 year old lab mix who loved her family. She is a loyal and sweet girl. Unfortunately, none of that seemed to matter when her owner surrendered her to a rural VA shelter. Poor Luna has no idea why she was given up. No more soft bed to lay in, quiet house to sleep at or loving family to spend time with. Luna's days are now filled with hard plastic beds, scary barking and other noises at the shelter and little interaction with humans. Although the shelter is trying to keep Luna's spirits up, what she really needs is a rescue to get her out of a life behind bars. Homeward Trails would love to save this petite 29 lb lab mix and find her a new family, but they need to raise enough funds to rescue her. Luna needs veterinary care and a rescue ride to a DC area foster. With your help, this sweetheart doesn't have to spend one more night alone. Please help Luna shine again!
