Shoot for the Moon- Jasper's Friends Run for Swim

On March 19, 2014,  21 month old  Jasper made his way to an unfenced backyard pool when his babysitter was momentarily distracted. It only takes a few short minutes for permanent injury or death to occur when children are deprived of oxygen under water.  His family formed the Jasper Ray Foundation to honor him and work to educate the community about drowning prevention. This team is made up of Jasper's friends and family who miss him dearly. We ask for your help in joining our team or donating to this important cause. 

 The Jasper Ray Foundation, in partnership with Orange County Drowning Prevention Coalition, and Swim Brayv will be hosting a 5k Fun Run on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 8am-11am at Huntington Beach.

Drowning is still the number one cause of death amongst small children.

Children who have formal swim lessons are 88% less likely to drown! But, not all communities have equal access to life saving swim and water competency education. Funds raised will support reaching underserved OC families who would otherwise not have access to these resources. It is our goal to one day raise enough money so every child in Orange County has the opportunity to learn to swim.
