Each year it has been my privilege to participate in a charitable event, organized by EAPC.

Every year, a new charity is selected from one of our EAPC office locations and this year the Williston, ND VFW will welcome the funds raised to help our local veterans in their community. I think an Army veteran named Paul Rieckhoff says it best (founder and CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), the nation's first and largest organization for post-9/11 veterans), “The common thread that binds all veterans is a thirst for camaraderie and community.”

What better reason to donate to our EAPC charity this year than to know that our local vets will receive a little community assistance and community spirit? The second best reason to donate to our local charity is knowing that an EAPC “boss” is going to get slimed at the end…and you get to witness the sliming on video! We’ve thrown pies, we’ve grown beards. This year we get to grease the person who raises the most money with green slime. All you have to do is choose someone to donate to and then watch the slime fest unfold at the conclusion of the donation period. It will be messy and gooey, but all for a great cause so please consider making a donation to help our local vets!

The person who raises the most funds will get slimed. So…donate to anyone but me!!
