Update #3

Update posted 3 months ago
The finals hours of giving are approaching and donations and continuing to come through. Thank you! I am humbled by the support of my extended network of friends and family :) Sending another $112.50 to match the latest giving! Keep it coming y'all!

DSF Werks is a welcoming community that provides workplace experiences, skills development, and mentorship for underserved and emancipated foster youth, focused on automotive restoration and media arts.

Our mentors are partnered with underserved young adults to teach them skills related to classic car restoration and media arts. Our commitment is to provide our young people with hands-on training and life skills, offering them community, hope and a brighter future.

Life moves fast for us all, but especially for adolescents aging out of the foster care system. Due to a lack of resources and limited social support, 50% of emancipated youth will be homeless within 2 years of aging out of foster care.

And that's where our work begins.

We pair youth with mentors who will help them develop skills in trades such as classic car restoration, automotive repair, and media arts. Our community not only helps build positive memories and pass on valuable trades, but it also allows our youth to see their value, build lasting relationships, and give them the confidence to succeed in and outside of the garage.

THE VEHICLES WE'RE RESTORING AND CAPTURING THROUGH A LENS TELL A MORE REMARKABLE STORY OF WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN PASSION IS DRIVEN BY PURPOSE.

We believe that the next generation can succeed and find purpose within our community, no matter their circumstances.

Join us and be a part of this story of hope.
