Hello!
This summer I have the opportunity to serve with Project Transformation as a summer intern. After transferring to Lincoln Christian University last year, I have felt a strong calling on my life to pursue a career in ministry. Over the course of the last year, I have been wrestling with God on what that looks like, and I have been looking for an opportunity to fulfill the calling he has put on my heart. I recently came across Project Transformation after doing research on various internship opportunities that would not only allow me to grow my experience in my desired field of work, but also allow me to serve God's kingdom. I chose this internship because I felt that Project Transformation's ministry was the perfect match to help prepare me for what I ultimately would like to do for a career once I graduate from college. I am hoping that this internship helps me to grow in my faith, shows me how to serve God's kingdom in a multitude of different capacities, and shows me how to better work with kids and people that come from all different walks of life.
As an intern, I will work closely with children, other young adults, and churches in the Sandy Springs Georgia area to ensure that families get the food and literacy resources they need so that kids don't fall farther behind in school. During my internship, I will also explore various opportunities for a career in ministry or service.
I will be a site coordinator leading the distribution of food and reading supplies, while also leading a virtual camp for the kids. This internship will give me the chance to build connections, lead/motivate a team, and the opportunity to impact the lives of children in my community.
Your gift will make a major impact in reversing reading loss from school closure, the summer slide, and other educational inequities. In such a time as this, it is ever so important that we come alongside parents and kids that are struggling through this pandemic and support them in whatever way that we can. It would mean so much to me, and our team if you joined us through prayer and emotional support as well as a financial donation.
Don’t let COVID-19 cause children to fall farther behind and miss out on valuable learning opportunities.
💥 No gift is too small to make an impact in the life of a child this summer. Will you serve alongside me this summer with a gift of $25, $50, or more? Every donation matters and will make the world of difference in the life of a child. I am so thankful for your support in whatever way you feel the Lord is calling you to serve or give.
