$2,500 goal

The Women’s Fund has spent the past 1-1/2 years reaching out for community feedback to identify the most pressing needs women and girls in our community face today. Economic security was identified as a primary issue with the ability to get high quality, affordable childcare being a leading factor in determining the ability of women to get an education or hold a job. The Women’s Fund has committed to providing up to $25,000 dollars annually for the next 3-5 years to support a communitywide Childcare Initiative aimed at the improvement of childcare accessibility in our community – impacting the lives of thousands of local women, girls and families in a multitude of ways.

This endowment, established in 1996, has provided $442,391 in grants supporting innovative programs at nonprofit organizations to promote the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, economic or cultural growth of women and girls.

The Women's Fund is kicking off a campaign "Lifting Women Up" with the goal of raising $200,000 by the end of 2021. These dollars come with a 1:1 match that will help us maximize our community efforts.

We invite you to join us in helping make all this possible.   Your donation is greatly appreciated.  Every dollar takes us one step closer in our efforts to make a difference in the lives of women and girls of Richland County.
